Holiday Cottages in the heart of tranquil Brittany

Clipgites have 3 gites for rental in various sizes:

Le Val, sleeps up to 8 plus cot
La Grenouillère, sleeps up to 10 plus 2 cots
Haut Coello, sleeps up to 7 without cot, or 6 with cot

La Val




This beautiful canal side farmhouse is nestled in a quiet hamlet.A walled garden runs alongside the Nantes-Brest canal.Ideal for walking biking and boating ( rowboats provided free, bikes available for hire )and watching the abundant wildlife ( we have otters and coypus in the canal as well as kingfishers and bird's of prey ).
The house is chestnut beamed, spacious open ground floor with wood burning fire, satellite TV with DVD player and midi-system. The kitchen is well equipped with microwave, electric oven and gas hob. The washing machine is housed next to the WC downstairs.
Upstairs is light and spacious with 2 double and 2 twin bedrooms. The master bedroom has en-suite with shower and the other bathroom is family sized.
Downstairs step through the french windows to the semi-shaded patio, covered with a sweet smelling rose and find the built in BBQ. The pool is found by walking across the large lawn, where next to the pool we have a multi-gym and terraced sun deck, all south facing.



La Grenouillère



This is a large spacious chestnut beamed house with central heating for out of season rental, is in a quiet hamlet close to the canal ( bikes available for hire ).
Comfortably furnished lounge with wood burner, satellite TV with DVD player and a selection of games and books. The kitchen has a microwave, gas cooker, 2 fridge-freezers, coffee maker and wood burner. There is a double bedroom as well as a shower room and toilet downstairs.
Upstairs there are 2 double bedrooms ( 1 with en-suite bathroom ) another shower room and toilet and the large bedroom, which can sleep up to 5 children ( 3 twin and 1 bunk ).
The beautiful mature garden wraps around 3/4 of the house and has the pool, swings and a terrace with the BBQ.




Haut Coello




This pretty cottage is set in tranquil country side with a private garden and above ground pool.
This stone built cottage has beautiful views and although set in the heart of Brittany it has easy access to the main roads and towns.
The open plan chestnut beamed downstairs has a fully fitted kitchen and dining area.
The lounge area is comfortable with a wood burner and TV with satellite and DVD player and a midi- system. There are also lots of games and books available.
Upstairs is very light with 3 bedrooms. There are 2 doubles, one with an en-suite toilet. One room with bunk-beds plus an extra pull out bed or cot.Also a shower room.
French doors lead onto the BBQ area, which in turn lead up the steps to the pool and garden with swings.




All gites are 10 minutes from medieval Josselin.
15 minutes from Lac-au-Duc ( man-made beaches and watersports )at Ploermel.


Linen is provided at all gites, except towels.
Cots and highchairs are provided in all gites.
Bikes are available for hire at all gites.
Two rowboats are provided free of charge at Le Val.
